OVPDLF reported that on 5 November a vent inside the S part of Piton de la Fournaise's Dolomieu crater opened, following an intense seismic crisis. On 14 October, OVPDLF reported a seismic crisis from Piton de la Fournaise, with seismicity indicating deformation on the N side of Dolomieu crater and rockfalls within the crater.
