Beschreibung
The most petrologically diverse of the Galápagos Islands, the small 2-km-wide Rábida Island consists of a group of lava domes and pyroclastic cones ranging in composition from tholeitic basalts to trachytes. Potassium-Argon dates from lava flows range from 1.06 to 0.l92 million years ago (Cox 1983).---
