JMA reported that the eruption at Suwanosejima's Ontake Crater continued during 20-27 November and crater incandescence was visible nightly. No explosions were detected, though ash plumes rose as high as 1.2 km above the crater rim and drifted mainly SE and W during 20-21 and 25 November.
