The extrusive activity of the volcano continues at high levels.

The active lava dome in the area of the collapsed dome Dolphin-2 continues to grow with magma rising into it. More and more unstable hot lava material is accumulating and prone to collapse into hot incandescent rockfalls, which in turn often develop into smaller pyroclastic flows as confirmed stunning images from Y. Demyanchuk from the local observatory.
Strong emissions of steam (also called fumarolic activity) and small amounts of ash continue with "only" venting that extended about 100 km to the east-southeast of the volcano.
