Eruption from Shiveluch this morning in Kamchatka

The volcano remains very active, growing its lava dome which occasionally looses some of its mass due to avalanches and explosions. A stronger eruption occurred at the volcano this morning producing an ash plume that rose to 33,000 ft (10 km) altitude and drifted to the SE.
