Another short-lived lava flow on the Sciara del Fuoco occurred in the evening of Thursday, 17 June. Starting from 21:10 local time and accompanied by a moderate rockfall event on the slope, lava over-spilled from the northern crater area and formed a flow on the upper Sciara about 200 m long.
