Fast konstante Aktivität in den letzten 2000-3000 Jahren. Lavastrom & Eruption z.B. im Dezember 2002 - Juli 2003, sowie im März 2007.
Typische Aktivität:
Kleine, explosive strombolische Eruptionen, die typischerweise alle 20-30 Minuten stattfinde. Alle 20-30 Jahre gibt es kleinere, effusive Eruptionen mit Lavaströmen und 2-5 mal im Jahr größere Explosionen.

Activity has decreased a bit yesterday, but strong explosions and small lava overflows from the NE crater rim and a vent at the outer flank continued, accompanied by frequent rockfalls on the Sciara. At the moment, activity seems to be increasing again.
