Activity index of Stromboli (image: LGS)
The activity at the volcano remains high. A series of quite strong explosions from the NE vent could be seen on the webcam placed on the 400 m viewpoint on the Sciara del Fuoco.
According to LGS from the Univ. of Florence, who monitor take into account a number of parameters (in particular tremor, number of explosions etc) the volcanic activity level of Stromboli is "high".
