Activity of the volcano has remained more or less unchanged during the past weeks. The western crater continues to produce intermittent (every few days) episodes of continuous, but relatively mild ash emissions. A relatively strong explosion (the strongest so far in the ongoing series of intermittent eruptions) occurred yesterday morning at the volcano at 01:18 local time.
