The eruptive activity of the volcano continues at moderately levels.
Surveillance cameras recorded continuous emissions of gas and ash. Ash plumes reached 8 km (26 000) altitude and dispersed towards the south, southeast and southwest onto the sectors of Sabancaya.

Ubinas (Peru): (8 Oct) The Geophysical Institute of Peru (IGP) recorded and analyzed 3769 seismic events with the eruptive process. Seismic activity and thermal anomalies would be associated with the rise and proximity of magma onto the surface.

Surveillance cameras have recorded continuous emissions of bluish gases (magmatic origin) and water vapor. Emissions reached less than 7 km (23 000 ft) altitude.
