The volcano continues to erupt more or less continuous low levels ash plumes (7-10,000 ft altitude) that drift in various directions before dissipating.

Near-continuous moderate ash emissions remain visible on satellite imagery on almost every day, indicating that activity inside the volcano's crater remains high (strong degassing, ash venting, intermittent explosions as observed from the rare visitors). ...more

Ash emissions from the volcano continue to occur almost daily. This morning, the ash plume monitored by Darwin VAAC extended 30 km to the WNW.

No significant changes have occurred at the volcano. It emits near-constant ash plumes, which are regularly seen on satellite imagery.

Darwin VAAC reported an ash plume at 7,000 ft (2.1 km) altitude drifting SW from the volcano this morning.

The activity at the volcano remains unchanged, but intense. Ash plumes at low altitudes extending over 100 km into various directions can be observed on satellite imagery almost every day.
