The volcano continues to erupt near constant ash plumes from small to moderate, but nearly continuous explosions from the vents inside its crater.
Yesterday, VAAC Darwin reported ash at 7,000 ft (2.1 km) altitude extending almost 100 km to the northeast.

Strong ash emissions continue at the volcano. VAAC Darwin reported an ash plume extending 25 km north of the volcano yesterday.

The volcano continues to erupt dense, but low level ash plumes that often can be detected on satellite imagery drifting 30-50 km NE.

Activity (explosions, ash emissions) remains elevated. An ash plume was observed extending 70 km NE from the volcano on 3 July (VAAC Darwin).

Ash emissions at variying intensity continue from the volcano. Darwin VAAC reported ah ash plume that rose to 6,000 ft (1.8 km) and extended 50 km NE yesterday.

Strong ash emissions continue from the volcano. Based on satellite data, VAAC Darwin reported that ash plume rose to 8,000 ft (2.4 km) altitude and extended 70 km NW this morning.
