Continuous ash emissions are being observed from the volcano, generating plumes at 2-3 km altitude that drift up to 70-80 km to the east (Darwin VAAC).

Activity remains intense. Darwin VAAC spotted ash emissions that rose 1-2 km above the volcano and drifted up to 100 km to the west.
