The earthquake occurred at shallow depth of 10 km (6.2 mi) beneath the epicenter on 19 Oct 4:38 pm (GMT +7) local time. Magnitude and other quake parameters can still change within the next hours as the agency continues to process the seismic data.
Our monitoring service at VolcanoDiscovery also identified a second report from the GeoAu agency which listed the quake at magnitude 5.2 as well. Other agencies reporting the same quake include USGS (magnitude 5.1), EMSC (magnitude 5.1).
