An earthquake of magnitude 3.8 occurred only 9 minutes ago 26 miles northeast of Beatty, Nevada, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported.

The quake hit at a shallow depth of 7.7 miles beneath the epicenter in the morning on Friday 13 November 2020 at 9.17 am local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
