Small 3.7 quake hits near Akhiok, Kodiak Island, Alaska, USA

3.7 quake 12 Apr 3:38 am (GMT -8)
The event was filed by the United States Geological Survey, the first seismological agency to report it.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) which listed the quake at magnitude 3.7 as well.
Towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Akhiok (pop. 72) located 33 miles from the epicenter. In Karluk (pop. 37, 52 miles away), the quake was probably not felt.
