Small magnitude 3.9 quake hits 40 miles southeast of Worland, Wyoming, United States early morning

The United States Geological Survey reported a magnitude 3.9 quake in the United States near Worland, Washakie County, Wyoming, only 23 minutes ago. The earthquake hit early morning on Tuesday 13 April 2021 at 6:22 am local time at a shallow depth of 8.5 miles. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
A second report was later issued by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), which listed it as a magnitude 3.9 earthquake as well.
Towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Ten Sleep (pop. 250) located 31 miles from the epicenter, and Worland (pop. 5,400) 40 miles away.
