Moderate earthquake of magnitude 4.5 just reported 95 km southeast of Gigmoto, Philippines

Just 22 minutes ago, a 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck near Gigmoto, Catanduanes, Bicol, Philippines. The tremor was recorded around noon on Thursday 6 May 2021 at 12:29 pm local time, at a moderately shallow depth of 32 km below the surface.

The event was filed by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the first seismological agency to report it.
