Moderate earthquake of magnitude 4.3 just reported 52 km west of Jhang Sadr, Pakistan

Just 12 minutes ago, a 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck near Jhang Sadr, Jhang District, Punjab, Pakistan. The tremor was recorded in the afternoon on Friday 7 May 2021 at 4:39 pm local time, at a shallow depth of 10 km below the surface.

The event was filed by India's National Center for Seismology (NCS), the first seismological agency to report it.
Based on the preliminary seismic data, the quake should not have caused any significant damage, but was probably felt by many people as light vibration in the area of the epicenter.
Weak shaking might have been felt in Mankera (pop. 10,800) located 37 km from the epicenter, and Garh Maharaja (pop. 29,200) 44 km away.
