An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 occurred early evening on Monday 24 May 2021 at 7:48 pm local time near Benkulu, Bengkulu, Indonesia, as reported by Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency.

According to preliminary data, the quake was located at a moderately shallow depth of 30 km.
