An earthquake of magnitude 4.0 occurred only 17 minutes ago 1 km north of Yonakuni, Japan, Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency reported.

The quake hit at a shallow depth of 10 km beneath the epicenter near Yonakuni, Yaeyama-gun, Okinawa, Japan, around noon on Tuesday 25 May 2021 at 12:06 pm local time.
