Significant 5.2 quake hits near Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh, India

A shallow magnitude 5.2 earthquake was reported early evening near Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh, India.
According to India's National Center for Seismology (NCS), the quake hit on Tuesday 25 May 2021 at 6:01 pm local time at a shallow depth of 10 km. Shallow earthquakes are felt more strongly than deeper ones as they are closer to the surface.
