Small magnitude 3.3 quake hits 2 miles southwest of Pāhala, Hawaii, United States early morning

The United States Geological Survey reported a magnitude 3.3 quake in the United States near Pāhala, Hawaii County, Hawaii, only 10 minutes ago. The earthquake hit early morning on Sunday 6 June 2021 at 6:56 am local time at a moderately shallow depth of 19 miles. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) which listed the quake at magnitude 3.3 as well.

In Hawaiian Ocean View (pop. 4,400, 20 miles away), Volcano Village (pop. 2,600, 25 miles away), Holualoa (pop. 8,500, 43 miles away), Hawaiian Paradise Park (pop. 11,400, 44 miles away), Hilo (pop. 43,300, 46 miles away), Kalaoa (pop. 9,600, 50 miles away), and Kalaoa (pop. 9,600, 50 miles away), the quake was probably not felt.
