Moderate earthquake of magnitude 4.6 just reported 70 km south of Coracora, Peru

Just 14 minutes ago, a 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck near Coracora, Provincia de Parinacochas, Ayacucho, Peru. The tremor was recorded late at night on Thursday 29 July 2021 at 11:18 pm local time, at an intermediate depth of 115 km below the surface.
The event was filed by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the first seismological agency to report it.
Towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Chiuchine (pop. 49) located 5 km from the epicenter, Coracora (pop. 7,400) 70 km away, Acari (pop. 4,400) 85 km away, and Tambo (pop. 5,000) 96 km away.
