Moderate earthquake of magnitude 4.6 just reported 70 km south of Coracora, Peru

Just 14 minutes ago, a 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck near Coracora, Provincia de Parinacochas, Ayacucho, Peru. The tremor was recorded late at night on Thursday 29 July 2021 at 11:18 pm local time, at an intermediate depth of 115 km below the surface.

The event was filed by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the first seismological agency to report it.
