A magnitude 4.1 earthquake near Nemuro, Nemuro-shi, Hokkaido, Japan, was reported only 14 minutes ago by Japan's National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience (NIED), considered the main national agency that monitors seismic activity in this part of the world.
