Just 22 minutes ago, a 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck near Catarina, Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. The tremor was recorded early afternoon on Thursday, November 25th, 2021, at 2:50 pm local time, at a shallow depth of 10 km below the surface.

The event was filed by Mexico's National Seismological Service (SSN), the first seismological agency to report it.
A second report was later issued by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), which listed it as a magnitude 4.4 earthquake as well.
Towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Catarina (pop. 160) located 87 km from the epicenter.
