Moderate earthquake of magnitude 4.9 just reported 122 km west of Port au Prince, Haiti

Just 13 minutes ago, a 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck near Port au Prince, Port-au-Prince, Département de l'Ouest, Haiti. The tremor was recorded early morning on Tuesday, January 11th, 2022, at 1:07 am local time, at a very shallow depth of 5 km below the surface.
The event was filed by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the first seismological agency to report it.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) which listed the quake at magnitude 4.7.
Towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Port au Prince (pop. 1,234,700) located 122 km from the epicenter.
