Fortunately, this strong quake was very deep and although it was felt in a very large region all across Colombia, only light to weak shaking was experienced. Damage should be limited.
No tsunami was triggered since the earthquake was deep beneath continental crust.

MEDELLIN / Weak shaking (MMI III) : Plants shaking and a slight rocking feeling. Lasted about 5 minutes.

Bogota (Colombia, 385 km NE of epicenter) : The shock was felt for a long time, probable like a minute in Bogotá. (reported through EMSC)
Bahia de Caraquez (Ecuador, 531 km SW of epicenter) : 2 times we felt, in a distance of 2 min. the second one was approximate 30 sec. long we felt it and have seen some kitchen tools on a hook very light swinging (reported through EMSC)
Medellin (Colombia, 473 km N of epicenter) : As I'm on the 15th floor in a building that (I hope!) was built to withstand such shocks the movement was probably exaggerated because of the constructions methods used.
