Chula Vista california / MMI IV (Light shaking): I was sleeping and woke up feeling the floor shaking at exactly 2:36 am. I figured it was an earthquake and looked at the clock for future reference. Nothing rattled in the house to speak of but it was noticeable earthquake.

Lake Elsinore, CA / MMI II (Very weak shaking): I was in bed in my motor home at Lake Elsinore, CA, but awake. I thought I felt a little shaking for a few seconds, checked the time as 2:36 AM, and wondered if I would hear about an earthquake on the morning news.
