Aore Resort / Violent shaking (MMI IX) : Felt weak to moderate shaking for 15-20 seconds then increased to a short (5 secs) moderate shaking which quickly abated to weak shaking that lasted for another 15 seconds trailing off for another 15 seconds. Disturbance started at about 6pm local time
At maximum there was only one item that fell off a shelf and that item was relatively unstable anyway.

Luganville. Santo. Vanuatu / Moderate shaking (MMI V) : I was reading a book, and my bed was shaking about 15 seconds. I went outside of my house.
Luganville (Vanuatu, 55 km W of epicenter) : I was in bed with the fan on full trying to nap. It may have taken me a while to realise what was happening because of the noise of the fan. It lasted 20 or so seconds. There was a trembling and I knew straight away it was going to be strong so instead of lying there like I usually do and wait for it to pass I leapt to the door and stayed under it. It started as a trembling, got more jerky and then it hit quite hard about 3/4 of the way through, then eased off. My first proper biggish one. (reported through EMSC)
