"I felt it" reports:
Heater Point (71.5 km NNW from epicenter) [Map] / MMI IV (Light shaking): Beachcombing at Heater Point. Shaking was short. I asked my friend if he had felt something but he hadn't. It felt and sounded like I had stepped onto a hollow area of the beach. It didn't occur to me that it was an earthquake. I tried to recreate the sound and feel to figure out what I had felt. The next day some other kayakers that we met on the North Brooks told us about the quake.
Tofino, BC / MMI IV (Light shaking): Was felt in the house early this morning, albeit some slept thru it that were downstairs.
port hardy / MMI IV (Light shaking)
White Rock (338.8 km E from epicenter) [Map] / not felt
kyuquot / MMI IV (Light shaking): Dog barked
Sayward, BC / MMI III (Weak shaking): felt my chair moving back and forth
ALERT BAY / MMI IV (Light shaking)
Port Alice BC Canada (973.9 km ENE from epicenter) [Map] / MMI IV (Light shaking): 6.20am, lying in bed just about to get up when the bed shook quite rapidly sideways and up and down for about 10 seconds.
Port Hardy / MMI II (Very weak shaking): Sitting at computer when i heard a bang and a light shake -no damage or swinging objects but it was not manmade -searched and located this site.
Port mcneill / MMI IV (Light shaking)
Port McNeill (96.9 km N from epicenter) [Map] / MMI VI (Strong shaking): I felt it, so did my dog he ran outside he was so scared
Port Hardy (Canada) (104 km NW from epicenter)(no details): I work with the school district, and am familiar with earthquake drills. The earthquake that we had this morning came on so suddenly, and while I was asleep. It happened so suddenly, it seems like all the preparation in the world doesn't give you time to jump into action for any safety techniques. (via EMSC)
