mckinleyville,ca / Moderate shaking (MMI V) : felt it, but it didn't wake the kids.  
Silvercrest, Eureka (81.7 km E of epicenter) [Map] / Moderate shaking (MMI V)
Weed, CA (242.7 km ENE of epicenter) [Map] / Light shaking (MMI IV) : Pocket door began rattling, then whole house. In bed with bed shaking for about 40 seconds  
Brookings, Oregon (238.4 km NNE of epicenter) [Map] / Light shaking (MMI IV) : Pet cat noticed it first. I merely thought my heat pump had just come back on, but quickly realized it was indeed an earthquake, and a rather long one. Crystal chandelier swaying, sounds were of interior objects shaking. Cat freaked out all night, possibly due to aftershocks.  
McKinleyville, CA (99.5 km ENE of epicenter) [Map] / Moderate shaking (MMI V) : Was working at McDonalds when the monitors started swinging and floor rocking back and forth with a slight rumble noise, lasted around 8 seconds  
Roseburg (304.1 km NNE of epicenter) [Map] / Weak shaking (MMI III) : I was in bed. Watched my bed jiggle, heard minor rattling sounds. Wasn't sure at first if it was even an earthquake.  
Myrtle town / Light shaking (MMI IV) : Count over 30 before shaking ended.lights remained on. Frightened and planned to go outside as soon as it stopped. However no damage so just stayed Indoors and gathered supplies,etc. three phone calls from relatives and neighbors.  
Port Orford, oregon / Moderate shaking (MMI V) : Woke me up ... Chair was rattling and I checked clock.  
Mendocino, Ca / Light shaking (MMI IV) : Our two dogs began barking for no apparent reason just moments before the quake.  
Eureka ca (82.5 km E of epicenter) [Map] / Moderate shaking (MMI V) : Woke both of us. Shaking lasted a long time. No damage so far.  
crescent city ca / Strong shaking (MMI VI) : Scared the heck outta me my whole house shook and it seemed to last a long time was rumbling then rolling then rumbling again.. also cracked a wall inside my house

My reaction to subtle house shaking and sounds of things vibrating in the house caused me to suspect some earthquake activity. I immediately searched the internet to determine if an earthquake had occurred. I live approximately 8 miles from Gold Beach, Oregon, North Bank Rogue River.

McKinleyville (United States, 77 km E of epicenter) : It was more of a rolling or swaying type of ground movement felt. no hard Jolt like a lot we get here. so was easy not to get to excited about it, although you felt the swaying for longer than usual. 45-60 seconds or so. Crescent City (United States, 131 km NE of epicenter) : We were about 80 miles north on the coast, I first felt gentle and then slightly stronger rocking, slight pause, and then the about the same slightly stronger and then even just a little stronger...at this point the event had been going on for up to a minute, My husband and I got up and went to a doorway, and it was over. Here at 80 miles away I guessed the stregnth to feel (reported through EMSC)  
Saanichton (Canada, 883 km N of epicenter) : I heard it first. I am very sensitive to sounds and shakings and vibrations. I have sensed and felt many earthquakes from great distances. It just felt like the crust was grinding. (reported through EMSC)
