Trikala (Greece, 144 km NE of epicenter) : It lasted 1 minute and a half but the shaking was steady and continuously strong. There was an aftershock later but I did not feel it. Initially, I thought the epicentre was closer to the area I live. Eventually, it was more km away.. (reported through EMSC)

Asprogerakata (Greece, 22 km E of epicenter) : I was making breakfast at 9:09 am. I felt like in a train that was moving. The kitchen started to shake heavily, then the wooden ceiling & stone walls. Then I tried to walk downstairs to cover myself, I could not walk straight because the stone staircase was sliding side to side. I panicked but made it downstairs. I had to go out of the building because of heavy noise and objects falling from downstairs wall. Outside, the aftershock came. The balcony above me trembled and made noise, so I went to the open-plan terrace and took refuge from the iron gate. Within an hour, I felt two-three aftershocks that shaked the iron fence heavily. Finally I had no other choice than to sit down on the ground during the rest of heavy quakes. My house survived the 6.5 quake and 5 after shocks of 3.5-5.2 magnitudes without danage thanks to a wooden earth-quake proif structure & thick, 2010 renovated stone walls. I am now in Athens as the after shocks continued throughout 17.11. and I could not stay. I may seek for councelling for the mental shock. I can still feel the shaking here in Athens every time I close my eyes, and feel difficult to go back to my house in Lefkada. I am a Finnish citizen running a residency house on the island for artists. This was my first earth-quake experience. (reported through EMSC)
