Guayaquil / Light shaking (MMI IV) : A little before 2:30AM my husband and I both woke up to light shaking. Lasted about 10 seconds or so. Although it wasn’t a bad one I had a lot of trouble getting back to sleep for fear of another stronger one coming!

Initial moderate shaking lasted ~ 7 - 8 sec. then light after-shock tremors. Then again ~ 3 sec. of moderate tremors & more light ones. Part of house’s wall seam cracked (!) & small items fell out of window sills.
