Constitucion Ave. Oaxaca Historical Center 68000 (135.6 km NW from epicenter) [Map] / MMI V (Moderate shaking): It was a very long earthquake compared to others over the years. A large vase in my entryway fell over and broke and another medium sized statue tipped over and cracked. All of the pictures on the wall were crooked afterwards.
Coscomatepec ,Ver (375 km NNW from epicenter) [Map] / MMI V (Moderate shaking): I was lying down when the bed started shaking side to side,it lasted for like 30 40 seconds it felt a long time!!

The wife and I had to hold on to each other to keep from falling. Tidle waves in the pool. But object in the house did not fall over. Go figure. No obvious damages found...yet.

México city / MMI VIII (Severe shaking): The seismic alert was heard almost a minute earlier. The first few seconds after evacuating no movement was felt, but then everything started moving very hard. We had to hold onto the cars. It seemed to have stopped, but the movement began again. I think it lasted a long time.

Mexico City / MMI V (Moderate shaking): The partition walls and furniture start squiking, the light poles had approximately 30-40 cm displacement at top, there were very few cracks between partition walls and supporting structure.
Ciudad De México, Polanco / MMI VI (Strong shaking): I live on the 9th floor of a 15 story tall building. Heard the alarm just a few seconds before the building started swaying from side to side. Picked up my dog and headed for the safety zone near the elevators to find my neighbors already waiting there. We headed outside once the trembling stopped - no damage to buildings or injuries reported by neighbors.
Coyoacán, Mexico City / MMI VII (Very strong shaking): It started slowly and after a short period of time it became very intensive. The cars were moving impressively, like if they were playing hula hula.
Fraccionamiento los albatros veracruz, Veracruz M / MMI VI (Strong shaking): It makes me feel uncomfortable knowing there's a big earthquake close by and the only one can do is run outside its a horrible experience
