"I felt it" reports:
Alaska (48.4 km WSW of epicenter) [Map] / MMI VIII (Severe shaking): I thought the world was going under At first it started to shake a little bit which made us stronger, we ran out and the electricity went out and some old houses fell a few minutes later the electricity went on again and I got a tsunami warning right away. If a tsunami had occurred we would have died because we got the message too late I'm glad to have survived!
Chignik Bay (141 km N of epicenter) [Map] / MMI VII (Very strong shaking): A lot of items fell off the shelves. No damage to buildings. Slight tidal rise and fall. Still feeling aftershocks the second day.
Naknek, AK (422.9 km NNE of epicenter) [Map] / MMI III (Weak shaking): Working down at the dock and felt the conveyor belt tables shake, we looked above and the light fixtures and hanging outlets were swinging. Out supervisors evacuated us all until it was safe to return
Southwest Anchorage, AK (846 km NNE of epicenter) [Map] / not felt: I was watching the local news when I would have felt shaking from this earthquake. My mom rushed to my room to as if I saw a tsunami warning WEA (Wireless Emergency Alert) coming through on my iPhone. I got mine 15 minutes after she did. I know that many other people in the Anchorage area felt it & I feel lucky to be one of the individuals to not feel this tremor.

Reminiscent of a very large truck parking too close to building effecting the room I was in. Vibration moved east to west through livingroom. Strong enough and long enough for me to ask if it was felt by a friend.

Davao city / MMI IX (Violent shaking): I just felt the mega super spreader super duper earthquake and I know it's just a part of the new normal. So I was walking down the street and all of a sudden the ground split in two and I fell into the hole and felt my spine break. I am still down here. I put on my muzzle I am good to go. Oscarville , about 5 miles from Bethel / MMI III (Weak shaking): The house shook for a good minute. The hanging decorations swayed. The water in the pitcher sloshed around.
Chignik Lagoon / MMI VII (Very strong shaking): Lasted a long time. Probably over one minute. Lots of items fell to the floor. Three small aftershocks with in 15 minutes.
South Amchorage / MMI III (Weak shaking): Got the emergency tsunami alert and was startled cause I hadn't felt anything. When I looked up, my chandelier was swinging a very wide swing and didnt stop swimimg for 19 minutes.
King Salmon, AK / MMI III (Weak shaking): My wife felt it. The open door moved back and forth maybe 1 inch. The towels swayed a little-less than 1 inch.
