Melling Lower Hutt, Wellington / Light shaking (MMI IV) / horizontal (sideways) swinging / 15-20 s : It felt like a wave side to side. Nothing fell or house items ruined. It was very scary feeling. It stopped for a few seconds and second wave cave and that felt very obvious like a sway.
