Minato (Japan) (41 km SW from epicenter)(no details): It las test a pretty long time but was quiet. Back and forth motion. (via EMSC)
Tsukuba (Japan) (28 km NW from epicenter)(no details): It was quite strong and loud. I didn't really register it at first because it woke me but then it went on for a while. (via EMSC)
Tokyo (31.3 km SW from epicenter) / MMI V (Moderate shaking)
Narita (Japan) (11 km SE from epicenter)(no details): The earthquake hit with a high intensity, stayed strong increased slightly about 10 seconds in, and then began to reduce. The building noise was loud everything was swinging and jumping. The bed moved perceptibly away from the wall. (via EMSC)
Narita (Japan) (11 km SE from epicenter)(no details): A bed shaker. Rustled closet hangers. Continued beyond 15 seconds. Similar to experience at same location and epicenter in April, 2013. (via EMSC)
Toshima (Japan) (52 km W from epicenter)(no details): It felt like a rolling motion that went on for maybe 20 seconds. I'm originally from New Zealand and know an earthquake and that was a long and steady one!
Ensenada (Mexico) (90 km NW from epicenter)(no details): It was surprising (via EMSC)
El Cajon (United States) (190 km NW from epicenter)(no details): Weird (via EMSC)
Clarion hotel, national city, ca (186.9 km NNE from epicenter) / MMI IV (Light shaking): On the 10th floor of the clarion hotel in national city, California. I felt the room wiggle like a jello for about 10sec.
Tierrasanta,Tierrasanta Blvd 4th floor (197.4 km N from epicenter) / MMI IV (Light shaking): We felt it for about 7 to 8 seconds. My 12 years old boy was sleeping and he jumped out of his bed, he was scary.
Zona Centro, Tijuana BAJA CALIFORNIA (170.1 km NNE from epicenter) / MMI IV (Light shaking): Light shaking on 3rd floor dining table for 5 seconds with 2 separate jolts. 2 other people slept through event.
El Cajon (United States) (187 km NW from epicenter)(no details): Lasted about 3-5 seconds (via EMSC)
Ensenada (Mexico) (90 km NW from epicenter)(no details): I was heading to the kitchen to microwave some tasty buffalo chicken bites when I thought someone was trying to break in to my house, But then I realized it was at the front and back door. They were rattling like rattlesnake! I was walking and felt like I was under attack. My wife came running out of our room in her robe saying, hey baby, did you feel that? I was like yeah, someone tried to break in to our house so I locked the doors. She then told me it was an earthquake and that I needed to check my buffalo chicken bites and make sure they weren't over cooked. After I was reassured that our house wasn't being attacked and the earthquake was over I was able to settle down with some blue cheese and the buffalo bites. (via EMSC)
San Diego, CA (5th floor, west side of Balboa Park / MMI IV (Light shaking): Felt rumbling while on living room couch. It lasted several seconds and I'd qualify it as light, not weak, because it was very noticeable.
