Noyan, Quebec (50.7 km E from epicenter) / MMI IV (Light shaking): I was awake but still in bed. Heard the glass window of our propane gaz fireplace rattling and some shaking of the ground. It sounded like a big farm truck passing on the 225 road but no truck.
Ormstown / MMI IV (Light shaking): It felt like a large cement truck hit the house. A crash, several seconds of shaking, and another crash. House is solid century brick on cement basement, and the whole thing rattled, surprised no cracked windows. I was practically on top of the epicenter and it was strong.
(3.3 km WNW from epicenter) / MMI VII (Very strong shaking)
Prévost (Canada) (97 km NW from epicenter)(no details): Seulemement un grondement, pas de vibration. (via EMSC)
Wentworth (Canada) (91 km NW from epicenter)(no details): first thought it was a sand truck along the road or a plane taking off from Mirabel Airport which we are on their take up pathway, saw no truck nor plane and the noise was too short to be a plane taking off, that's is when I said to myself it might be an earthquake (via EMSC)
Lake Placid (United States of America) (79 km S from epicenter)(no details): Shakey with a big rumble (via EMSC)
