(12.1 km ESE from epicenter) / MMI IV (Light shaking)
Siglufjordur / MMI IV (Light shaking): We were in a house and all of us felt it. It was a very short and sudden “boom” that only lasted 2 seconds. The whole house shook, but nothing was damaged. Felt much stronger than a heavy truck passing by. More like an explosion with a rumble sound. If it had lasted longer, things would hve definitely been shaken up in the house.
