Myerstown / Light shaking (MMI IV) : It sounded like an explosion, as if a bomb had gone off. With our development close to railroad tracks, I first wondered if it was a train derailment. We often hear artillery practice from Indiantown Gap, but, never ever anything like this!
Three Rivers MA / not felt : Many people in our town heard a loud boom and then a while later a second loud boom. Some felt the first. From what I understand, the police found nothing in the area, after trying to do some research I saw this Earthquale and wonder if it was a delayed effect.
New Freedom, PA / Very weak shaking (MMI II) : Felt like shudder from loud thunder, in fact we all thought it was thunder.
Lewistown ,Pa / Light shaking (MMI IV) : Also new something happened because the dog got up from our bed . She doesn’t like loud noise like fire works and it was to early for them
Myerstown, Pennsylvania / Weak shaking (MMI III) : Extremely loud boom like someone set off several sticks of dynamite. We could feel the house shake. It happened again close to midnight the first time it was between 9 and 10 approximately.

Sounded like a bomb going off and our house shook. The shaking was worse than anything we experience when the Gap is practicing. It did not seem like an earthquake to us but an explosion.

I run a water company and we often see an increase in are well water turbidity a few days after an earthquake happens. Even if that earthquake occurs hundreds of miles away.

Time was around 2115 hours. Myerstown, PA. Just N / not felt : I texted my daughter in her apartment and she heard it too. Cats disturbed. I knew it was not lightening and thought could have been close gun shot. I live on W.McKinley Ave in Myerstown, PA. I had an uneasy feeling but did not feel any shaking of house, etc.
