Barcelo resort Huatulco / MMI V (Moderate shaking): Loud bag followed by brief strong shaking/rumbling. Work most from sleep. Minor after shocks.
Hotel VillaBlance, huatulco / MMI IV (Light shaking): 6:30am Seemed very loud woke most everyone up that we talked to at hotel. Didn’t last long at all and one small aftershock

Huatulco, Mexico / MMI IV (Light shaking): Woke the majority of our house up. Whole place was vibrating. Thought there was a loud concert going on next door.
Las Brisas, Huatulco / MMI IV (Light shaking): Initial loud boom and subsequent shaking lasted no more than 5-10 seconds. Jumped out of bed and ran to the children in the next room, the youngest of which asked what that loud sound was—told him garbage truck rumbling thru...he didn’t believe me.
