(648.5 km NNE from epicenter) [Map] / not felt(via app)
Sorake beach south Nias / MMI V (Moderate shaking): Before the quakes my dog started crying. I was leaning against a concrete fence. The ground under my feet started jumping. Someone sitting nearby ran off. Lights were swinging. Picture on the wall swaying. The 3 story hotel next door was swaying slightly. Water was swishing from side to side in a bottle. It felt a lot stronger than 5.8. The 5.5 was shorter and not as strong as the first one
Sorake Beach, Botohilitano / MMI VI (Strong shaking): This felt stronger than 5.8. It was short but strong shaking with my dog scared and things falling off shelves and hanging plants shaking. There was an aftershock about 10 min later also rocking strong but only a few seconds long.
(529.2 km ENE from epicenter) [Map] / not felt(via app)
(Indonesia) (43 km NW from epicenter)(no details): Violent shaking first one not so bad on second quake Many move to higher ground (via EMSC)
