Talisay (Philippines, 147 km NW of epicenter) : I don't know if the others were awakened or noticed the quake around 3am though I have a friend with me who noticed it and I assume our neighbor just across our house and living in a room at the rooftop of an apartment also did because one of them went outside and tried to observe the area for minutes before going back in after the quake. There was no sound but we can clearly see the walls moving and swaying same with some of the hanging objects found inside the room. What made me think was that I never heard the dogs barking which is not the very normal behavior of pets or animals when in this type of situation. (reported through EMSC)
