Boracay / Very strong shaking (MMI VII) : We were at Hangin Kite hotel and felt a considerable shake of the whole building. I was asleep at the time and it woke me up.
Boracay Island / Moderate shaking (MMI V) : We were at the CocoLoco Bar and Restaurants when suddenly there's this strange feeling in the ground then suddenly a quick strong one... Everyone looked at the sea after that to check for tsunami...

Sea Wind Resort Boracay / Strong shaking (MMI VI) : The earthquake was pretty hard. We’re in the 3rd floor, in our room. My son and I were both sitting on a bench and just imagine with both our combined weight the whole thing lifted up! My husband who was in the bathroom taking a shower felt it and saw the walls moved. My daughter was sitting on a chair when she ran in fear towards me. There was a light aftershock after a few minutes.
