"I felt it" reports:
Kona Coast Resort, Kona, Hawaii / MMI V (Moderate shaking): Sounded like someone fell on the floor or down a set of stairs. Best description for those familiar with thunder storms is after a close lighting strike you feel the thunder rumbling your house. Same feeling. Lasted no more than 10 seconds.
Kailua kona / MMI IV (Light shaking)
Old Mamalahoa Hyw... Above Hina Lani / not felt: Felt like one hard jolt hit the house
Kona Coast Resort / MMI IV (Light shaking): Light shaking felt on third story condo
Kailua Kona (5.4 km E from epicenter) [Map] / MMI VIII (Severe shaking)
Kumu place, kailua kona, hi / MMI IV (Light shaking): Fairly strong Jolt shook couch then light shaking.
(12.4 km NNE from epicenter) [Map] / MMI IV (Light shaking): Felt one very sharp jolt. Bed I was on moved back and forth once. Felt like a shock wave hit the house

(7.6 km NNE from epicenter) [Map] / MMI IV (Light shaking): Felt a hard bump to the couch and heard a single rumble at the same time. Neighbors in the pool next door felt it as well. The water was sloshing around in the pool.

Kona / MMI IV (Light shaking): Out on lanai second story felt the lanai sway and a very strong rumble
Kailua Kona / MMI IV (Light shaking): While sitting on the couch, felt like a jolt, as if a car had hit the building. I felt cushions on the couch hit my back.
