Alexander City Alabama USA / Moderate shaking (MMI V) : At 9:30 CST we experienced a quick jolt or shaking or our house. It was just once. It was unusual because that has never happened to use before. I thought it was an explosion close by, then I discovered that the earthquake occurred the same time our house shook. .
