China Lake acres area Ridgecrest, California / Moderate shaking (MMI V) : I was sitting outside and I thought I heard thunder, felt like someone kicked my chair. Neighbors came out of their house and asked if I felt it and what the magnitude was.  
Lake Elizabeth, CA (Lake Hughes) / Light shaking (MMI IV) : I was sitting upstairs at computer. The windows rattled, and I could feel the light shaking under me. It was as if it shook for about almost 10 seconds, going away, but then the shaking lingered a bit, for another few seconds.
