Zagreb / Moderate shaking (MMI V) / rattling, vibrating / 2-5 s : I felt the earthquake at 02:53 am local time. Loud avalanche like sound and a few seconds of shaking. Doors and windows were shaking and creeping. My dog started barking. Woke up terrified after the experienced 5.5 earthquake in March 22,2020. Exactly, today 6 months later same awful feeling to be ripped out of your sleep by loud drembling and shaking. Can’t fall asleep now.
Zagreb / Weak shaking (MMI III) / single lateral shake / 1-2 s
Novi Zagreb / Very weak shaking (MMI II) / horizontal (sideways) swinging / 15-20 s
