Leh / Very strong shaking (MMI VII) / 5-10 s : I was about to sleep in the bed in room at Mahabodhi International Meditation Center When suddenly the beds started shaking and I could feel the bed shaking The tremors were strong I had no fear as this was a single story room made with mud bricks But the only problem I was anticipating was that the hills adjoining my room were made of Ladakh Batholith and there were loose boulders in the hill. my only apprehension was that the loose boulders may fall And if that happens there are little chances
